We have worked with M/s. Touchwood Decor & Furnitutre, P.O.Box 5021, Sharjah, UAE, the Expansion of the Al Maha Desert Resort, located on the Dubai Al Ain Road and belonging to the Emirates Group. M/s. Schuster Pechtold Were the Consultants, M/s. Al Basti & Muktha the Main Contractor and M/s. Touchwood the Sub Contract for for the Joinery Work.
It was completed in two stages in 2003 and 2004. The Work consisted of loose and fitted furniture for the Guest Bedrooms and Suites.

This project was critical and a real fast track considering the quantum of works and its quality involved. All of you have portrayed professionalism and stern dedication right from the day one to meet the deadlines with the best possible quality of works. The entire project took off unexceptionally in a professional way with spontaneous mobilization, set out at site and rest of the works. Though there was no program prepare but performance of you was definitely ahead of a program if it was ever prepared.
All the furniture works is the best as expected from your production team, even though the details kept of changing and delayed approvals on shop drawings from the brand. Your site personnel were unbelievably proactive in planning, organizing and completing works even though there were so many hindrances from mall, your sub-contractors, delayed details from us and etc. Really appreciate all the team members involved in the success of this project and which definitely would have been handed over earlier to our operations if the mall would have completed their scope of works in time but anyway the project was handed over on time and that is the biggest challenge.
